Contact Lenses

The Optometrists of Optika Eye Care Center are always on the look out for the latest technology in contact lenses. Notably, the advantages of oxygen permeable materials that improve comfort and diminish redness of the eyes at the end of the day. During your eye exam, your optometrist will establish the type of wear (lenses that are replaced daily, monthly or bi-monthly) according to your needs. Whether you have myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and or presbyopia, your optometrist will find a solution to satisfy your needs. There are optometrists at Optika Eye Care Center who have developed an expertise in specialty contact lenses. During the exam, the optometrist can advise the patient that presents irregular corneas (keratoconus, post-lasik, pellucid marginal degeneration or post-corneal transplant) or who suffers from dry eyes, the appropriate specialty contact lenses (rigid lenses, corneo-scleral, semi-scleral, piggyback system…). Note that it is also possible to have your contact lenses delivered to your home or workplace.
